Women's sports has been under-covered for decades. The Free Tier exists so that any school, college fan group, journalist, nonprofit, or individual can build with our data without permission, paperwork, or payment. That's how the women's sports community grows — and it's a non-negotiable part of how we operate.
The Partner Tier exists because organizations doing commercial work need things the Free Tier doesn't offer: real-time push, exclusive data, an SLA, white-labeling, and direct support. It's a different product, not a paywall on the same product. Same way GitHub is free for open source but enterprises pay for SSO and audit logs.
If you're a for-profit company, media organization, league, team, sponsor, brand, or any other entity using the data to generate revenue (directly or indirectly), yes. Schools, non-profits, individual fans, college fan groups, journalists, and personal projects are not commercial. See full terms.

Sometimes. For media partners, leagues, and brands with sponsor relationships, we'll consider rev-share structures or sponsor-funded city rollouts as part of a Partner Agreement. Mention it when you reach out.
