These terms govern use of the Watch Women's Sports IRL ("WWS IRL") public API, embed widgets, and iCalendar (ICS) feeds (collectively, the "Free Tier"). By accessing the Free Tier, you agree to these terms.
We publish the Free Tier to support the women's sports community — fans, schools, student organizations, college blogs, nonprofits, and individual creators. The Free Tier includes:
The Free Tier is licensed for personal, educational, and non-commercial use, including:
All use of the Free Tier requires visible attribution to Watch Women's Sports IRL with a link back to watchwomenssportsirl.com. The embed widget includes this attribution by default — please do not remove it.
Use of the Free Tier for commercial purposes is not permitted without a written Partner Agreement. Commercial use includes, but is not limited to:
Commercial users should contact us to discuss a Partner Agreement. Partner-tier integrations include higher rate limits, real-time push webhooks, exclusive data fields (broadcast, ticket pricing, venue notes), white-labeling, an SLA, and dedicated support. See /pricing for tier details.
Free Tier rate limits are documented at /developers. Limits are enforced per IP address (anonymous) or per API key. We reserve the right to adjust limits, throttle abusive traffic, or revoke access for any user that violates these terms.
When using the API or ICS feeds in any user-visible context, please include attribution in one of these forms:
Attribution should link to watchwomenssportsirl.com. Embed widgets include this attribution automatically.
The Free Tier is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, completeness, accuracy, or freshness of the data. Free Tier users receive no SLA. Production systems and any use case where reliability matters should use a Partner Agreement, which includes SLA terms.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via the changelog at /developers. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Questions about these terms, requests for a Partner Agreement, or any commercial-use inquiries: contact us.
We work with media companies, leagues, sponsors, and product teams. The Partner Tier includes everything the Free Tier doesn't — webhooks, exclusive data, white-labeling, an SLA, and direct support.
